BAJOVIA – PT. Bajovia Travel Nusantara

Welcome to Bajovia, a premium travel company operating under PT. Bajovia Travel Nusantara, specializing in Private Phinisi Boat Charters, Phinisi Sharing Trips, Private Fastboat Charters, and Fastboat Sharing Trips across the breathtaking Komodo National Park.

Before making a reservation, please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By confirming your booking and making any payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

  1. Booking Procedure

To book a trip with Bajovia, guests must first check availability and select their preferred travel experience. Our team will confirm availability and provide complete information regarding the selected package, including itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, pricing, and payment schedule.

Once the booking details have been agreed upon, the following deposit is required to secure the reservation:

  • 30% of the total trip price for Phinisi Sharing Trips and Fastboat Sharing Trips.
  • 50% of the total trip price for Private Phinisi Boat Charters and Private Fastboat Charters.

Reservations may be made through:

  • Website
  • WhatsApp
  • Email
  • Phone

A booking is considered confirmed only after Bajovia issues an official Booking Confirmation and Invoice.

Guests are responsible for ensuring that all personal information provided is accurate, including names, passport information, contact details, and travel dates. Bajovia shall not be responsible for any issues arising from incorrect information provided by the guest.

  1. Payment

An official invoice will be issued after the booking has been confirmed.

The required deposit must be paid before the payment deadline stated on the invoice. Failure to make payment before the due date will result in the booking being automatically cancelled.

Payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Payments may be made via:

  • Indonesian Bank Transfer (IDR)
  • Wise
  • Revolut
  • Alipay
  • Credit Card (if available)
  • Direct payment at the Bajovia office

All bank charges, transfer fees, payment gateway fees, and currency conversion fees are the responsibility of the guest.

Once the deposit has been received, Bajovia will issue:

  • Booking Confirmation
  • Official Invoice
  • Booking Voucher

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days before departure.

For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment must be completed no later than one day before departure, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  1. Cancellation by Guests

Guests may cancel their booking at any time by notifying Bajovia in writing.

Cancellation does not automatically entitle the guest to a refund.

All payments made are non-refundable.

Guests may request to reschedule their trip within the same calendar year, subject to availability and written approval by Bajovia.

Reschedule requests must be submitted at least 31 days before the scheduled departure date.

For requests submitted within 31 days before departure, Bajovia cannot guarantee:

  • The same Phinisi boat or fastboat.
  • The same cabin category (for Phinisi trips).
  • The same departure date.
  • The same travel package.

Alternative arrangements are subject entirely to availability and may require additional payment if the new option has a higher price.

For cancellations made within 31 days before departure, no refund will be provided.

Guests remain responsible for the full amount stated on the invoice, including any operational costs already incurred by Bajovia.

Failure to complete the remaining balance before the invoice due date will result in automatic cancellation.

All payments previously made remain non-refundable, and Bajovia reserves the right to release the reservation for resale.

  1. Changes or Cancellation by Bajovia

Bajovia reserves the right to cancel, postpone, modify, or reschedule any trip due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Extreme weather conditions
  • Unsafe sea conditions
  • Mechanical or technical issues
  • Natural disasters
  • Government regulations
  • Port authority restrictions
  • Force majeure events

If Bajovia cancels the trip before departure, guests may choose one of the following options:

  • A full refund of all payments made.
  • Reschedule to another available departure date within the same calendar year.
  • Transfer the booking to another available Bajovia travel package.
  1. Force Majeure

Bajovia shall not be liable for any delay, cancellation, modification, or failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods, pandemics, epidemics, war, civil unrest, terrorism, strikes, government actions, port closures, transportation disruptions, or other force majeure events.

In such circumstances, Bajovia will make every reasonable effort to offer alternative travel arrangements where possible.

  1. Sailing Permit Restrictions

All trips within Komodo National Park are subject to sailing permits issued by the relevant authorities.

If a sailing permit cannot be issued and the trip cannot operate:

Before Departure

Guests may choose:

  • A full refund of all payments made.
  • Reschedule within the same calendar year.
  • Transfer to another available Bajovia travel package.

After the Trip Has Started

If the trip must be terminated due to government permit restrictions, Bajovia will provide a proportional refund based on the unused portion of the trip after deducting operational costs already incurred.

The refund calculation will be made transparently.

  1. Itinerary Flexibility

Bajovia reserves the right to modify the itinerary, destination sequence, departure time, activity schedule, or duration of visits whenever necessary due to weather conditions, sea conditions, guest safety, operational requirements, government regulations, or instructions from local authorities.

Such adjustments are made solely to ensure the safety and overall experience of our guests.

  1. Trip Interruption

If a trip is interrupted due to technical or operational circumstances beyond Bajovia’s control, Bajovia will, whenever reasonably possible:

  • Provide another Phinisi boat or fastboat with comparable facilities and service standards; or
  • Provide a proportional refund based on the unused portion of the trip.
  1. National Park Fees

Unless otherwise stated in the quotation or itinerary, Komodo National Park entrance fees, ranger fees, trekking fees, camera fees, conservation fees, and other government-imposed charges are not included and are subject to change without prior notice.

  1. Medical Requirements

Guests are responsible for ensuring that they are medically and physically fit to participate in marine and outdoor activities.

Any medical condition, pregnancy, allergy, dietary restriction, disability, or mobility limitation must be disclosed to Bajovia before departure.

Failure to disclose relevant medical information may affect participation in certain activities.

  1. Travel Insurance

Bajovia strongly recommends that every guest obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Medical treatment
  • Personal accidents
  • Emergency evacuation
  • Trip cancellation
  • Trip interruption
  • Flight delays
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings

Bajovia shall not be responsible for any medical expenses, evacuation costs, or personal losses incurred during the trip.

  1. Flights

Airline schedules are subject to change due to operational, weather, or air traffic conditions.

Bajovia shall not be responsible for:

  • Flight delays
  • Flight cancellations
  • Missed flight connections
  • Airline schedule changes

Guests are strongly advised to arrive in Labuan Bajo at least one day before the scheduled departure.

  1. Wildlife Disclaimer

Komodo dragons, manta rays, dolphins, turtles, whale sharks, and other wildlife live in their natural habitat.

As such, wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed during any trip.

  1. Children Policy

Children remain under the supervision and full responsibility of their parents or legal guardians throughout the trip.

Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring children’s safety at all times.

  1. Damage to Property

Guests are responsible for any loss or damage caused intentionally or through negligence to the Phinisi boat, fastboat, onboard equipment, accommodations, vehicles, or other property provided during the trip.

Bajovia reserves the right to recover reasonable repair or replacement costs where applicable.

  1. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to:

  • Follow all safety instructions provided by guides and crew.
  • Respect local customs, regulations, and conservation rules.
  • Protect the natural environment and wildlife.
  • Behave respectfully toward fellow guests, crew members, and local communities.

Bajovia reserves the right to refuse service or terminate participation without refund if a guest engages in unsafe, illegal, abusive, or disruptive behavior.

  1. Lost & Found

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings throughout the trip.

Bajovia shall not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings left on boats, vehicles, accommodations, or destinations.

Any items found after the trip will be kept for a reasonable period. Shipping costs for returning lost items shall be borne by the guest.

  1. Photography & Marketing

During the trip, Bajovia may take photographs or videos for promotional and marketing purposes.

By participating in the trip, guests grant Bajovia permission to use such photographs and videos on its website, social media platforms, brochures, and other marketing materials.

Guests who prefer not to appear in promotional materials must notify Bajovia in writing before the trip begins.

  1. Liability

While Bajovia takes every reasonable measure to ensure guest safety and service quality, participation in marine and outdoor activities involves inherent risks.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bajovia shall not be liable for:

  • Personal injury
  • Illness
  • Death
  • Loss or damage to personal belongings
  • Flight disruptions
  • Delays caused by weather, government authorities, airlines, or other third parties
  • Events beyond Bajovia’s reasonable control

Bajovia’s liability shall be limited to the value of the travel services purchased directly from Bajovia.

  1. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

Any dispute arising from these Terms & Conditions shall first be resolved through good-faith discussion between the parties.

If no mutual agreement can be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Indonesia.

  1. Privacy Policy

Bajovia collects and processes personal information solely for reservation, operational, legal, and customer service purposes.

Personal information will be handled confidentially and will not be disclosed to third parties except where necessary to provide travel services, comply with legal obligations, or with the guest’s consent.

  1. Agreement

By confirming a reservation and making any payment to Bajovia, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all travel services provided by PT. Bajovia Travel Nusantara.
